FAQs about Courier Services

What information do I need for a quote?

We need the item description, dimensions, collection postcodes and delivery postcodes. This is the least amount of information that we need to be able to provide you with an accurate quote.

How much notice do I need for a booking?

We can collect at short notice, often within 30 mins. It depends on local traffic, if you tell us how urgent it is we can give you an accurate collection time

What do I need to book your courier service?

We would need your name, address, purchase order number and the information given to us for the quote, to be emailed over. Upon sending the email you are agreeing to our terms of business, these can be found here – Terms of Business

Do you accept credit cards as payment?

Yes, via paypal.

I want to use you regularly, can I have an account?

All our account customers are allowed 14 days credit for the courier services we provide. Please email us for an account application form.

How long before I get my proof of delivery back?

We endeavor to email all our proof of deliveries over the day the job is completed. All are done within 24 hours. If you would like a hard copy of the proof of delivery, let us know at the time of booking and we will post it to you. We are at the mercy of the postal service in this instance.

What type of courier service do I need?

Is my cargo insured when you deliver?

It depends on what your cargo is. Our small vans are insured for up to £10,000 and our larger vans for up to £20,000. We can increase our insurances to cover high value loads, just let us know at the time of booking.

What items are not insured?

Our insurers don’t insure glass or second hand goods. There are some other items that are excluded, these can be found in our Terms of Business. If you want fragile items moved, you have a choice of self insuring or letting us deliver without it. We like you know your options.
